This wine is an example of the best of the Empordà. Its landscapes, the aromas of its fields, the Tramontana that marks the character of its people… Produced using the best from each of our estates, the Gran Claustro brings together the best sensation of this beautiful land, confirming the old adage that "a wine is the landscape of a country concentrated in a wine glass". This wine is produced using only selected grapes from the best harvests, which are always hand picked.

Gran Claustro 2017

Designation of origin: Empordà
Varietals: Cabernet Sauvignon (70%), Garnatxa Negra (30%).
Ageing: 22 months in new Bordeaux barrels of Allier French oak, rest in bottle.
Tasting note: Intense cherry color. Aroma of ripe fruit in perfect harmony with the fine aging notes and a spicy background. The palate is fatty, fresh, enveloping, with ripe tannins that make it silky. It is a very elegant, balanced, long wine with personality and a very good aging capacity.
